Margate is a small town but still has an abundance of restaurants and bars. They cater for all tastes and include Steakhouses, Fish Restaurants, Italian and Burger Bars. They even have a KFC and Wimpy Bar for fast food takeaway or eat in. A 5 minute drive takes you to nearby Ramsgate & Southbroom for even more unspoilt beaches and delightfull cuisine. South Africa is famous for it's Sea Food Restaurants where you can indulge in the delights of Giant Tiger Prawns and freshly caught Crayfish. There are supermarkets, shops, banking facilities & laundries within the town. The Shelley centre, a large newly built shopping centre with cinemas, clothes shops, restaurants etc. is a short drive away.
